My wife and I visited Rackheath Vets today , with recently acquired cat.
This was our first visit to Rackheath Vets and we were delighted with the whole set up , from the decor , the professional reception from staff and the way the vet spent time with us explaining the treatment for our cat.
We were not rushed , felt welcomed and came away very happy.
We would not hesitate to recommend Rackheath Vets , this was service second to none .
I used this vets for the first time today, and I’m seriously impressed. A lovely light-filled building which has been carefully designed for access for all, including disabled people. The vet I saw was fabulous. Really listened, didn’t try to sell me anything, no “taking the dog to the back for tests” which add little or nothing to the diagnosis or treatment plan, used his vast experience in prescribing and didn’t insist on a further appointment when I can test at home. All four vets live very close to the practice so are likely to stay long term allowing clients to build a proper relationship with them. I’m definitely registering the rest of my pets with them and if I could register myself and have them as my GP I would (although there would have to be a discussion on methods of taking my temperature!)
We had our first visit to the new vets yesterday. My Labrador was anxious going to the vets due to previous treatment, but yesterday he was fine. All the staff gave him a fuss, Chris the vet was great and we are very happy we have found a new Vets that make me and my dog happy. Thanks again

Got an appointment at short notice, for my mum’s dog, which had a nasty abscess on his paw!
They were very friendly on the phone, on arrival, the vets was clean and bright, the reception staff smiley and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming.
The vet, Chris was lovely, immediately identifying the problem and resolving it in a couple of minutes.
Overall, a great experience. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for an efficient friendly vets.

Fantastic facilities, great vet and staff, dog back to normal after 12hours of meds.
Vet even phoned himself the next day asking how she was and offering to drive more meds to us if needed to save us the boat/taxi/drive/drive/drive/drive/taxi routine again if needed.
The staff here are extremely personable and so very helpful.
Which makes visits a pleasant experience for me and my dogs Inca and Georgie 🐾
Everyone was lovely, felt listened to by the vet and everything was explained. They clearly try and do the kindest thing for the animals they treat. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Great new independent, care and service first class.
First time at the vets and they were brilliant! Lovely staff with lots of information. They set me up with their pet club meaning I get flea, wormer, vaccinations and nurse check ups all in the monthly amounts making it much cheaper. Great experience, really recommend 😊

I’m very glad that I found out about this independent practice and it makes a very good alternative to all the large group Vet Practices. You are made to feel that you and your pets are important to them and not just a money tree.

Great vetinery practise who go above and beyond!!
Very good vets, we took our reactive dog Nevile in for a checkup who doesn’t like other dogs or people. Chris was great with Nevile, the checkup was very relaxed and went much better than expected. They even arranged for us to enter through a back door route they’ve set up specially fit nervous dogs.
Our new puppy became very ill not long after we brought him home. He ended up having two major surgeries. The whole team at Rackheath Vets provided the best emergency care ever, and he is now feeling great!
